Bastion Rose Premieres New Single “Humble Me” with Live Studio Performance Ahead of June 20 Release
Bloomington-based rock band Bastion Rose is setting the stage for their next chapter with the debut of their new single “Humble Me.” The track premiered during a special livestream performance at Rainwater Studios in Brown County, Indiana on June 12, where the band played their full Fade To Blue EP before unveiling the official “Humble Me” music video.
First Look at Their New Album
“Humble Me” is the first single from Bastion Rose’s upcoming full-length album Traces Of Gold, produced by three-time Grammy winner David Bottrill. Known for his work with artists like Tool, Muse, and Coheed and Cambria, Bottrill brings a sharp production edge that’s already turning heads. The song itself blends gritty guitar tones with introspective lyrics, earning early comparisons to Soundgarden and vintage Led Zeppelin.
Lead vocalist Austin Frink describes the track as “a moment of reckoning. It’s about when life hands you something you didn’t ask for, and you still have to learn from it. Humility, if it comes, doesn’t come easy.”
