FireFlame Reveal Something Is Wrong Lyric Video
Osaka modern heavy metal band FireFlame have released Something Is Wrong, the latest single and lyric video from their forthcoming debut album Force Against the End. The fifteen-track record is scheduled for July 31, 2026 through Wormholedeath and introduces the band’s mix of classic heavy metal, metalcore, melodic death metal and twin-guitar melody to an international audience.
A Dystopian Search for the Truth
Something Is Wrong follows a character who gradually realizes that the surrounding reality has been distorted by manipulation. What begins as unease develops into a search for the source of the corruption. FireFlame frame that awakening as both liberating and terrifying: recognizing the truth gives the individual agency, but it also destroys the comfort of believing that the system still works.
The lyric video leans into that fractured atmosphere, allowing the words and the band’s dystopian imagery to remain at the centre of the presentation.

Traditional Metal Craft Meets Modern Weight
FireFlame describe their style as “Modern Heavy Metal.” The term makes sense when the band’s twin-guitar approach is placed beside the heavier rhythmic language of metalcore and melodic death metal. Guitarists FireRay and Fire.J supply the central musical identity, moving between harmonized leads, sharp riffing and a more contemporary low-end attack.
The band’s official biography describes FireFlame as representing the flame inside people who continue to challenge the impossible. That idea also informs Force Against the End, which is built around the concept of “Inner Fire,” or the refusal to surrender when circumstances become overwhelming.
Part of Osaka’s New Heavy Metal Movement
FireFlame formed through a university music circle before completing the lineup with vocalist Mr. Big Fire, bassist Connie Flames and drummer Show.G.Flame. The band later co-founded NWOJHM, the New Wave of Japanese Heavy Metal, alongside kitsunevi. The initiative aims to reconnect and revitalize Osaka’s metal community while giving newer bands a shared identity.
The NWOJHM label deliberately recalls earlier regional metal movements, but FireFlame’s sound is not a recreation of the 1980s. Their interest in classic heavy metal is balanced by modern production, breakdown-ready weight and the concise impact expected from current metal releases.
Editorial Perspective
Something Is Wrong is strongest when the twin guitars carry the tension instead of simply decorating the chorus. FireFlame understand that traditional metal melody can sound urgent rather than nostalgic when it is supported by a modern rhythm section. The track’s dystopian concept is familiar territory, but the band approach it with enough conviction to keep it from feeling like borrowed imagery.
