Stoner/Power Metal Force Weapon of Pride Drops Third Single “Wrath”
Arizona’s powerhouse trio, Weapon of Pride, has unleashed their latest single, “Wrath,” featuring Kelley Juett of Mothership. This track is the final release ahead of their upcoming album, Beneath the Surface, set to drop on December 13, 2024, via Wormholedeath Records.
“Wrath” delves into the destructive nature of anger, portraying it as a force that entices with false promises of peace but ultimately ensnares in suffering. The song showcases Weapon of Pride’s unique fusion of heavy, thrash, and stoner metal, amplified by Juett’s electrifying guitar solo and backing vocals. This emotionally charged track serves as a compelling prelude to the forthcoming album.
Weapon of Pride, hailing from Phoenix, Arizona, comprises brothers Ryan Arnold (bass/vocals) and Logan Arnold (guitar), along with Adam Duplack on drums. Known for their heavy riffs, thrashy tempos, and old-school vibe, their discography includes the debut EP Retribution (2021) and the full-length album Taking Over (2023).
